A 16-year old was shot and killed Saturday night at Southbend Park in LaGrange.

The victim has been identified as Nasir Truitt, 16, according to Amy Sheppard, deputy coroner.

He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The call came in just after 7:30 p.m., Sheppard said.
