LaGrange rolls over Trinity Christian for important region win

The LaGrange girls soccer team cruised to an easy 6-0 win over Trinity Christian on Tuesday. The Grangers came into the game in fine form and rolled over the Lions for an important region win and their fourth win in a row to improve to .500 on the season (6-6) for the first time this year.
Sam Cottle continues to lead the lines upfront and scored two goals and provided an assist. Reese Humphries is coming into her own in the midfield and scored a goal while providing two assists on the evening. Carlee Roland scored two goals and Karley Perry had the other to round out the scoring for the Grangers in the game.
LaGrange is 2-0 in region play and will battle it out with on the road to fellow region leaders Starr’s Mill on Thursday in a game that could prove to be pivotal in the final region standings.
