The LaGrange boys soccer team had no problem brushing past North Clayton 11-1 on Tuesday. The Grangers were in cruise control from the offset, scoring seven goals before the halftime break.
Davis Knight led the lines, scoring the first four goals of the game and five in total. Jan Alvarado had a field day in the middle of the park, scoring two goals and providing four assists. Andy Patton scored a brace while Luke Patton got a goal to his name as well. Jordan Byrant scored a goal and provided an assist.
Boe Beall, Romans Outland, Ty Ormsby, Cade Hollstrom and Walker Vinson all registered an assist in the game.
LaGrange is now 7-7-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in region play. The Grangers have three games left on the schedule — all home region games. LaGrange plays Fayette County on Friday, Troup next Tuesday and Whitewater on Thursday in a game that will likely decide the region championship.
