Longtime LaGrange Firefighter William Bradfield has been hired as the new fire chief to replace former fire chief John Brant who resigned in December.
Former Georgia State Trooper Garrett Fiveash, who retired from the state comptrollers office, was named the new police chief. Chief Fiveash will take over for Interim Chief Dale Strickland, who has been running the LaGrange Police Department since the retirement of former Police Chief Lou Dekmar.
