The Mosa Fund sends a big hooray to the Puppy Pipeline and LaGrange Animal Control, who transported 58 dogs and cats to new homes in Golden Valley, Minnessota, last week. (See Friday, June 10, issue.)

Troup County is overrun with feral cats, who sadly face a life of starvation, disease, cars and rampant reproduction, which they cannot help.

The Mosa Fund seeks to prevent unwanted kittens by spaying and neutering pets, strays and feral cats for free. It is working!! To give cats a better life and to see cats transferred to new homes in Minnesota is heart-warming.

Founded in 2007 by four cat lovers, the Mosa Fund, a 501c3 organization, has since fixed 1,234 cats in Troup County. This has conservatively prevented 18,510 unwanted kittens. To get a cat fixed for free by the Mosa Fund, call 706-884-3167 between 7:30 and 9:30 at night.

Remember that female cats can begin to produce as young as six months old and can have up to three to four litters a year.
