Jersey Mike’s Subs is planning to open a new location in LaGrange near the upcoming Publix on Vernon St.

According to the leasing map for the shopping center, the sub shop will be joined by Monaraca Mexican Restaurant, Elite Nail Spa and a liquor store.

Starbucks and Chick-fil-A will fill two of three out-parcel locations in the shopping center, currently called Merganser Commons at Hills & Dales Farm.  One out-parcel location is still available according to the property owner’s website.

Construction for the shopping center is expected to be completed this summer. Jersey Mike’s has listed the store as opening soon on its website.

The current Chick-fil-A on Commerce Ave. plans to close and move to the Vernon location this summer. Publix has said there are no plans to close its location on Commerce Ave.

Starting with a single sub shop in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956, Jersey Mike’s has grown to over 2,000 stores throughout North America.
