On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend congratulations to Coweta Judicial Circuit District Attorney Peter J. Skandalakis on his recent appointment to serve on the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council of Georgia.

All Georgians will benefit from Mr. Skandalakis’s service on the council, which is the statewide clearinghouse for criminal justice information and research and is charged with developing criminal justice policy proposals for the legislative and executive branches of government and serving in an advisory capacity to the governor on issues impacting the criminal justice system.

Georgia’s legal community salutes District Attorney Skandalakis for his continued dedication to public service, and we wish him well in this new position.
