On Thursday, Liberty Communities revealed its Hogansville home model with a ribbon cutting organized by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.
Lurae Williams, president of sales and marketing, said they are excited about the development in Hogansville.
“This has been a project that has been coming for a long time. We are so happy to be here and to be part of the area. A lot of growth is getting ready to happen this way, a lot of people moving from Newnan and from Columbus. We hope we’re in the right location to bring them here to go Hogansville,” Williams said.
The model was a four-bedroom and two bath home. Williams said Liberty offer homeowners many ways to customize their future homes from the number of bedrooms to make of the cabinets and countertops.
Williams said to be a part of the chamber was a great opportunity for Liberty Communities.
“Being a part of the chamber is one of the greatest things we can do. We trying to join the chamber in all of our communities so we can become part of the community better. We look forward to partnering with the chamber, bringing them business and partnering with their business partners,” Williams said.
“We currently have three communities in Troup County. I worked in Troup County with another builder over 15 years ago and to see the change and all the people here is amazing. We look forward to what the future will look like in our ever-expanding communities.”
Hogansville Mayor Jake Ayers said Liberty Communities is a great addition to Hogansville.
“We’ve been anticipating it from the very beginning. So, we’re excited to see homes being built. Every home that is sold here is going to be a citizen that’s going to hopefully be buying local,” Ayers said. “Our staff is ready to take on not just this community but to make it a part of Hogansville. I think this is going to be a great element to our town, not to mention, bring a whole lot of great new families to the community.”
Williams said along with building houses, Liberty Communities offers affordable homes and guides potential homeowners to owning a home.
“We work with several mortgage companies, like New American Funding an FBC mortgage, that partners with us to help people get approved. We also offer a special rate, the best rate in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama at 4.99%. As interest rates have climbed, we were able to buy a block of money and offer a special rate of 30 years fixed, not adjustable at 4.99%,” Williams said.
