Laura Beth Daniel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Daniel Jr. of LaGrange is engaged to be married to John Allen Edenfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Edenfield of St. Simons Island.

The couple met in 2012 and was engaged in September 2015.

Laura, a graduate of Auburn University’s architecture program, is an architect at Kronberg Wall Architects.

John, a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, is a mechanical engineer at Clyde Bergemann Power Group.

The couple will have a garden wedding in Atlanta on Sept. 24, 2016. Dinner and reception celebration will follow in the Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta.

The couple is restoring a 1908 house in Candler Park where they will live.
