Details revealed on crash that killed Callaway student

The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the crash that killed a Callaway High School student over the weekend but has provided some details on the preliminary investigation into the deadly crash.
Kinsley Creed, 17, suffered serious injuries during a vehicle collision on Friday night and later succumbed to those injuries on Sunday.
Around 7:08 p.m. on Friday, state troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on GA 18 at Hadley Road in Harris County.
According to GSP, a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling east on GA 18 in the left lane, and a Chrysler 300 was traveling in the right lane. The driver of the Chrysler 300 made an improper lane change into the left lane, striking the rear of the Chevrolet Tahoe.
This impact caused the Tahoe to leave the roadway strike the median and overturn.
Creed, who had been the front passenger in the Chevrolet Tahoe, sustained serious injuries because of the crash. She was taken to the hospital but succumbed to injuries sustained during the crash on Dec. 17.
The crash is still being investigated by the Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team.
No further information has been provided about the deadly crash at this time.
