Man shot, killed on Garfield Street

The LaGrange Police Department is investigating a shooting on Garfield Street that resulted in the death of a man.
On Wednesday, at approximately 7:04 p.m., officers of the LaGrange Police Department responded to 141 Garfield Street regarding to a person shot. During the course of the investigation, officers determined Jonathan Daniel had suffered a gunshot wound and was later pronounced deceased. The LPD’s Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and is actively investigating this incident.
