LaGrange boys soccer knocks off one of the top teams in the country

LaGrange hit the road for a tough test on Wednesday, taking on MaxPrep’s no. 8 ranked team in the country Carrollton. It was a successful road trip for the Grangers, who won 2-0.
Elvis Castillo broke the deadlock nearly halfway through the first half when Cade Hollstrom set him. The Grangers grabbed a second goal in the second half courtesy of and Aidan Collins goal and Anthony Castillo’s assist.
Elvis is now up to a whopping 13 goals in the opening eight games of the season.
LaGrange has now won three in a row to improve to 5-3 on the season and sit 2-0 in region play. The Grangers will have a big test on Thursday when the team plays the second half against Starr’s Mill at home. The game was called last Friday with the match tied 0-0.
