Joseph “Joe” Michael Moncus, age 34, of Brooks, Georgia passed away on April 25, 2024. He was born on July 13, 1989 to David Michael Moncus and the late Elizabeth Pilgrim Synoground. He was a driver for First Rate Towing and Collision, LLC in Griffin, Georgia. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved to hunt and fish and was an all-around comedian at heart.

Survivors include his parents, David Michael Moncus and Cassie Howell Moncus, sister, Sylvia Moncus, Mirada Eubanks (Jerry), Christy Reid (BJ); nieces and nephews, Caleb, Megan, Haley, Kassidy, Cheney, Blake, and Aareona; several great nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The family will have a visitation on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeal Home at Hunter Allen Myhand. The funeral will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Kilgore officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, Ga.
