Four charged with assaulting teen girl

LaGrange Police are investigating an incident where four subjects were charged with assaulting a teenage girl.
Police began investigating the incident Sunday, night around 9 p.m., when officers were called to the 400 block of Lincoln Street in reference to reports of a fight.
Following an investigation based on evidence and information provided to officers, police determined that four subjects had assaulted a 17-year-old female.
Police say Eric Trice, 40, Janoviana Gates, 18, and two juveniles attacked the victim causing non-life-threatening injuries.
All four suspects were taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault. Police believe another subject was involved in the incident, but their identity has not been confirmed.
A video of the incident has circulated around social media with some commenters claiming the victim was possibly autistic. Police say there was no indication that the female victim was autistic.
Investigators are uncertain of the details that caused the dispute but indicated that the suspects had attacked the victim. The subjects were also related.
