The City of LaGrange is inviting the community to take part  in the ninth annual #CityHallSelfie Day Thursday, August 15th.

Whether you are a resident or a local government employee, the City of  LaGrange is encouraging you to snap a selfie at LaGrange City Hall, 200  Ridley Avenue, and post it on social media any time on Wednesday.  Make sure to tag @lagrangegagov and use the hashtag #CityHallSelfie.

Engaging Local Government Leaders, or ELGL, hosts the annual City Hall  Selfie Day encouraging local government pride. You can expect to see  City Hall Selfie pictures throughout the country. ELGL will be reviewing all of the tagged photos and giving awards for a variety of different  categories from “most creative” to “most selfies taken by one person.” 

There are several different categories to win in City Hall Selfie Day. Here  are the categories:  

∙ People’s Choice Award: City Hall Selfie Excellence 

∙ Best Community Engagement for City Hall Selfie Day ∙ Most Creative City Hall Selfie 

∙ Funniest City Hall Selfie 

∙ Most Selfies Taken by One Person on City Hall Selfie Day ∙ Best-Dressed City Hall Selfie 

∙ Best City Hall Selfie Photography or Videography 

∙ Best City Hall Selfie Short-Form Video 

∙ City Hall Selfie with the Most Famous Figure 

∙ Best City Hall Selfie from Another Type of Government Building 

City Hall Selfie Day begins Thursday, August 15th at midnight and lasts  through 11:59 p.m.
