Man accused of attacking and robbing father

LaGrange Police are looking for a man accused of attacking and robbing his 63-year-old father.
Dequindre Langston is suspected of a robbery that allegedly occurred Tuesday night.
On Aug. 27, around 9 p.m. officers with LaGrange Police Department responded to the 400 block of Town Center Drive in reference to reports of a fight that had just occurred.
Police say during the initial investigation, officers determined the fight was actually a robbery by force and contacted investigators to proceed with the investigation.
During subsequent interviews, investigators determined that Langston attacked his 63-year-old father by striking him from behind which rendered him unconscious. Langston then allegedly removed items from the victim’s pockets including his wallet.
Langston fled the location on foot before officers arrived on the scene.
Police say the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical assistance.
This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
