Thomas Edward Jacks, 80, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. 

Thomas was born July 15, 1944, in LaGrange, Georgia, the son of Eddie Lee Jacks and Letha Mae Brown.

Thomas graduated from Troup High School in 1962 and followed in his parent’s footsteps to work for Callaway Mills. Afterward, Thomas worked at Weather’s Honda in LaGrange as a mechanic.  

Thomas loved hunting and spending time outdoors. He also enjoyed working on motorcycles and restoring cars.

Thomas was a lifelong member of East Vernon Baptist Church. He loved his  church and served in many roles there over the years, including Deacon, Sunday school teacher, building and grounds committee member, singing in the choir, and playing in the church softball league. 

Remaining to cherish Thomas’ memory are spouse, Vicki Riddle Jacks; children, Lane Jacks (Rhonda), Nicole Jacks Barnes (Micheal), Krystle Jacks Miller (Chris), and Levi Thomas Wynn (nephew); grandchildren, Matt Jacks, Mitch Jacks, Will Jacks, Cooper Jacks, Luke Barnes, Breanna Barnes, and Tod Barnes.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee Jacks and Letha Mae Brown.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 4-6 pm at East Vernon Baptist Church.

The memorial services will be held immediately following the visitation at 6 pm.
