LAGRANGE, Georgia – On October 25, 2024, at 2354 hours, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the area of 201 Whitesville Road in reference to a person shot.

The victim reported he was walking west on Hamilton Road near the Speedy Serve (201 Whitesville Road) when an unknown person shot a gun with at least one bullet striking him. Peterson was transported to an Atlanta area hospital for further treatment.
