Mr. Otis Coleman, 88, of Lagrange departed on Saturday at Diversicare of Lanett.
Otis Coleman the son of the late Otis Johnson and Annie Clyde Coleman and care parent Amos Brooks was born in Lagrange.
Otis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a contractor with Daniel Lumber Company.
He was self-employed and known as the “Handy Man for his craftmanship.
He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by his uncle Amos Brooks, children; Brenda Coleman Campbell and James(Moot) Coleman, brother Edward Coleman and two grandchildren, Constance and Carey Daniel.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Thursday at 1 P.M. at Meadoway Gardens with the Minister Deborah M.Haynes officiating.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 5 P.M.-7 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
