Lynda Carlisle Jackson, 71, a native of LaGrange, Georgia; and formerly of Augusta, Georgia, passed away on Thursday in Phoenix, Arizona.
She was born Nov. 14, 1952, the oldest of four children born to Mrs. Louise Truitt Carlisle.
She graduated in 1969 from Ethel W. Kight High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Texas College in Tyler, Texas in 1973.
She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Local survivors include her mother, Mrs. Louise Carlisle; sister, Rose M. Carlisle.
