On November 25th at 9:35 PM, deputies with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched
to 24 Pyne Road (Dollar General) in regards to a possible Armed Robbery that had just occurred.

When deputies arrived they spoke with the victim who stated that two black males entered the
store and confronted him by physically striking him in the front and back of his head with a handgun causing injuries. At that point, they went behind the front counter and took money from the cash register and fled the location.

Deputies contacted the LaGrange Police Department to assist with the search of the two suspects
utilizing K-9’s and a drone was deployed. A short time later one of the suspects was
apprehended with the assistance of the LPD K-9 not far from the Dollar General. That suspect
has been identified as Jaylon Linson, 20 years of age, of LaGrange. At this time the second
suspect has not been identified or located.
