Community Bank & Trust  is once again embracing the spirit of the holiday season by taking the lead in collecting and distributing toys for children in Troup County. Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to the local community, The Bank has again exceeded expectations for its annual Toys for Tots holiday toy drive, ensuring that every child experiences the joy of the season.

“Our mission goes beyond banking. It’s about building brighter futures,” said Steve Jefferies, President & CEO of Community Bank & Trust. “Every child deserves to feel the magic of the holidays, and it’s an honor for us to play a role in making that happen for the families of Troup County.”

The annual toy drive has become a cornerstone of the community’s holiday efforts, partnering with Toys for Tots to identify families in need. With collection boxes in all Community Bank & Trust branch locations, the initiative welcomes toys, games and monetary contributions to spread joy far and wide.

Bernard Bledsoe, Lead Volunteer for Toys for Tots with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, praised Community Bank’s continued leadership and community focus. “This is exactly why I bank at Community Bank & Trust,” Bledsoe said. “Their dedication to Troup County families, especially during the holidays, goes above and beyond. They’re not just a bank—they’re a true community partner. With their support, we can ensure no child is left behind this holiday season.

Members of the community are encouraged to participate by dropping off new, unwrapped toys at any branch location through December 20.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers, employees and local businesses,” Jefferies added. “It’s a testament to what makes Troup County special—our collective commitment to lifting each other up.”

Through this effort, Community Bank & Trust reaffirms its role as a true partner to the community, not just during the holidays but year-round. This initiative is a reflection of the bank’s commitment to making a meaningful impact where it matters most: at home.
