Events: Market on Main is in the parking lot at East Depot and Main streets, next to Carmike Cinemas LaGrange 10, from 8 to 10 a.m. Local growers and vendors offer produce, plants, various food and handmade items for sale.
Loyd Presbyterian Church at 550 Upper Glass Bridge Road hosts a farmers market across from the church 8-11 a.m. Fresh vegetables and homemade products; vendors welcome at no charge with those items. 706-594-4951
Faith Baptist Church hosts a free car wash for veterans and will accept donations from all others who get a car wash to fund the church’s Veterans of Faith Ministry. The car wash is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Beechwood Furniture on Commerce Avenue.
Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Welcome Baptist Church in the Redline Community honors pastor J.R. Ware for his 43rd Pastor Anniversary and 50th year in ministry at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker is the Rev. Allen Simpson III of Canaan Baptist Church.

Legacy Museum on Main hosts West Point Lake at 40 Years, a collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper through Sept. 10, exploring the history of the lake and its impact on life in the county.
