Mrs. Jeannie Lynn Bowen Fowler, age 66, of Pine Mountain, passed away on October 31, 2016 at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Fowler was born on November 25, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Huel Bowen and Virginia Ogletree Bowen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Franklin Fowler, Sr.. Survivors include her son, Jerry Franklin Fowler, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Buford; daughter, Christina Lynn Turner and her husband Steve of Pine Mountain; brother, Huel Bowen, Jr. and his wife Sandra; sisters, Rikki Hale and her husband Jimmy, Martha Patterson, Brenda Bowles and her husband Jimmy, Barbara Driver and her husband Jimmy, Deborah Bowen, Sandra Garner and her husband Ernest; grandchildren, Devin Fowler and his wife Haley, Kelli Fowler, Debra Turner and Steve Turner II.; great grandchild, Trenton Fowler; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Rev. Bryan Geter officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Mountain Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
