LaGRANGE- If you’re an individual (male or female) and you are dealing with some uncertainty about relationships or marriage and feel discouraged from time to time about whether your find that special someone, then there’s a book that is set to be released next year that can provide the right dose of inspiration.
Jacole Todd, a LaGrange native who currently resides in Atlanta, is releasing her debut book called “Season Of Preparation: Welcome To Season Of Preparation” on January 31, 2017. The book is an accumulation of messages, prayers, life lessons, personal testimonies and advice designed to empower and encourage individuals who seek marriage.
“My overall mission it to provide tools and resources needed to prepare and build strong marriages and healthy family relationships,” said Todd.
Todd, is a Certified Life Coach, Career Coach, Certified Human Resources Professional and the founder and president of Season of Preparation, which is a program that provides education and resources to help others form healthy relationships and marriages.
Todd’s aim with her book is to share her personal dating experiences and experiences of other single adults who desire marriage, along with providing words of wisdom from married adults to readers, whom she has spoken to.
“My inspiration comes from being tired of always being the bridesmaid and never the bride, my broken engagement and having that awkward moment of always explaining why I’m still single and over 30 and the staggering rise of divorce rates,” said Todd. “I wanted direction and encouragement for myself and want to provide a resource for those who have similar challenges in the quest to find Mr. or Mrs. Right.”
Todd completed the book in three years and her research consisted of her keeping messages from her journal, information and personal testimonials from her own life experiences since 2011.
On what Todd wants people and the public to take from her Season Of Preparation: Welcome To Season Of Preparation book.
“I want them to be encouraged, motivated and empowered to seek a healthy relationship and/or marriage,” said Todd. “If they are already in a great relationship themselves, I hope they will share the book with someone else.”
“This book is very important! It is a part of me fulfilling my life purpose, which is to see broken families mended.”
