Dear Editor,

 

I can’t let the Edna Foster letter on Jan. 23 pass by without a comment. If she was watching the inauguration on the channel I did she would have heard President Trump say “thank you” more than once.

I think he showed a lot of grace in his acknowledgement of all the dignitaries there and his general attitude toward the pomp and ceremony of the occasion. And did you notice he kissed all his children when he arrived?

May I remind Edna Foster that after the election he made a “thank you” tour of several states. I think he shows a lot of grace.

I liked the way she ended her letter saying “God bless you, Mr. President.” He will be the president of all of us, not just the ones who voted for him. Let’s give him a chance, he may be one of the best presidents we’ve had.
