Mr. Charles L. Hollaway Jr. 81, of LaGrange Georgia, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Florence Hand Home, LaGrange. Charles was born October 13, 1935 in Carrol County, Georgia, the son of Charles L. Hollaway Sr. and Rilla Tyree Hollaway. Charles retired after working many years as a fixer for Milliken Textile, LaGrange.

 

He is survived by his son Ronald Hollaway and fiancée Vicki Arrington; grandchildren, Shane Hollaway, Jeramie Hollaway, Christinia Knight and Lynn Thrailkill; great-grandchildren, Reif Hollaway, Denver Moon, Ashlyn Knight

and many friends.

 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Faye W. White Hollaway, one son, Ken Hollaway, four sisters and 8 brothers.

 

The family will be receiving family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in Mr. Hollaway’s memory at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with Rev. Bryan Geter officiating. Interment will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery, LaGrange.
