God’s 401K, are you paying into it on a regular, timely matter? I sure hope so. Matthew 19:29 Jesus promises that those who sacrifice on earth will receive a HUNDRED TIMES AS MUCH in heaven.  That’s 1,000 percent, which is an impressive return. You can’t take it with you, but you can send it on ahead. Folks, all I am talking about on eighth grade terms is the joy of giving. I have a good friend named James. He is a very generous man said he has a friend that comes by and always boasts about some deal he just put together making $15,000 or $20,000. My friend was tired of listening to the boasting so he said, “I asked him for $500 for the church youth trip and the man was broke for the next 5 minutes. It works every time!

I am reading a book, “The Treasure Principle” by Randy Alcorn. He talks about everyone discovering the secret of joyful giving. Randy talks about if you want to see where someone’s heart is, open his or her checkbook. Do they give to the church or buy big boy toys? Where your money leads, your heart will follow.

There are a lot of needs. I am not telling you where to put your money, but I promise you one thing, you can have a big smile if you help other people and groups that need help. I have just had a couple of friends die, I know they are in Heaven. My next call will be to Dee Clark at Hope Harbor. I will ask her to pick my check up and send a note to some families I loved and let them know people matter and people care. Hope Harbor is here in our back yard and it helps ladies get back to their families after having made a wrong turn in life.
