Mr. Robert Lee Munsey, age 71, of Franklin, passed away on April 15, 2017 at the Piedmont Newnan Hospital.  Mr. Munsey was born on February 2, 1946 in Loudon, Tennessee to the late Preston Munsey and Lora Edith Thacker Munsey.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Roberta West.  Mr. Munsey was a Veteran of the United States Army and most recently worked at Parkview Nursing Home.  Survivors include his wife, Kathy Elaine Norris Munsey of Franklin; son, Michael Robert Munsey and his wife Lee of Loganville; daughter, Kara Munsey Browning and her husband Brad of Kingston, Tennessee; brother, Johnny Munsey; sister, Joyce Livingston; grandchildren, Josh Munsey, Taylor Browning, Colt Browning, Keenan Mulkey; step-son, Wesley Mulkey and his wife Amanda of Franklin; extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 at the funeral home.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
