Mrs. Emma J Brand Cipolla, 88, of LaGrange passed away peacefully Thursday night surrounded by her family. Emma was born December 13, 1928 In Roopville the daughter of the late Moses Leafus & Mary Liza Street. She had made her home in LaGrange for the past 71 years and  a charter member of the Baptist Tabernacle and retired from Milliken and Company’s Kex plant.

She was predeceased by her husband’s Marrell Brand and Frank Cipolla, A  Son, Gary Brand and Sisters Geneva Yates  and Mozelle Forbus

Survivors include:

Daughter: Glenda Brand Turner, LaGrange, GA Sons: Douglas  & Deena Brand, LaGrange, GA Gregory & Peggy  Brand, Hogansville, GA, Lamon Brand, Leesburg, GA.

Grandchildren: Kay Terrell, Mariana Martin, Lesley White, Katie Turner, David Drake, Jr. 9 Greatgrandchildren, Brother: M. L. (Marty) Street, LaGrange, Georgia.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma J. Brand Cipolla will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday from the Hunter–Allen-Myhand Chapel with the Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Interment will be at  Restlawn Memory Gardens, Monday, May 1, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. . The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 until 8 p.m at the funeral home
