One person was killed and the others were hurt in a head-on collision at the intersection of West Point and Hudson Roads.

The wreck happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 2014 Honda Accord and a 2001 Ford Expedition collided on West Point Road.

One person was airlifted to a nearby medical center; three others were taken by ambulance to the hospital, troopers said.

The driver of the Expedition, who has not been identified, later died from injuries, stated GSP.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
