Mrs. Doris Edith Lankford, 90, of LaGrange passed away at LaGrange Nursing & Health Rehab after an extended illness. Mrs. Lankford was born July 22, 1926 in LaGrange the daughter of the late George Washington and Epsy Daliska Spate Griffin.  She was a member of Long Cane Methodist Church and a former employee of Callaway Mills Company and Kaydon.  She was pre-deceased by Her Brothers and Sisters, Hammett Griffin, Lucille Bassett, and June Reddish

Son & Daughter-in-law: Michael Wayne & Stephanie Adams Lankford,  Douglasville, GA

Grandchildren: Tech Sergeant Wesley & (Terri) Lankford, USAF

Matthew Lankford, Longmont , CO

Great Grandchildren:  Nick Lankford, Alex Lankford, Zack Lankford, Shawn Lankford

Brother & Sister-in-law:  Ralph & Frances Griffin, LaGrange, GA

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Lankford will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Ledbetter officiating. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 2 pm until 3 pm. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240 or the Alzheimer’s Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington D.C. 20090-6011 in memory of Mrs. Lankford.
