’LaGrange Living,’ a new lifestyle magazine, is in the midst of being launched by The LaGrange Daily News. The first issue is scheduled to be released July 24.

This new magazine will be in full color, on magazine quality paper and is to be published  six issues per year. It will focus on celebrating the many interesting and unique people and places within Troup County and the surrounding area.

Initial distribution will be 6,000 copies, some by mail and others counter-topped in businesses around the county. Subscriptions will also be sold to those who want a copy sent to their home.

A reception relative to the launch is to be held the evening of June 29 at the Del’avant and advertising sales are already underway. Sales personnel are members of The Daily News staff, and will show a printed example of what several pages of the new product. With image-driven pages and stories, LaGrange Living will focus on the artists and trendsetters, causes and traditions, neighbors and friends, streets and parks, events and happenings, shops and restaurants that make LaGrange and Troup County home.

“The goal of LaGrange Living will be to simultaneously inspire and inform its readers,” Ellis said. “We will strive to make connections, to dig deeper into the communities and share the interesting and heart-warming stories that we know are all around this county and area. We seek to remind you of what you love about where you live, and perhaps give you new reasons to do so.”

LaGrange Living will include feature stories on people, community causes, history, faith and the outdoors, along with profiles on food and drink, schools and sports, home and style and much more.
