Officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the 100 block of Boston Court on Thursday in reference to persons breaking into an individual’s car. The victim advised 911 that the suspects had run from the scene, but were believed to be in the area. LaGrange Police K9 assisted with the investigation and completed a track that led to the suspects, who were located on the 400 block of Nashua Court.  Evidence of the crime was located, and four individuals were arrested.

At approximately 11 a.m., LaGrange police responded to Church Hill Drive in reference to a second report of car break-in that occurred during the night hours. The investigation revealed that the suspects were responsible for that crime as well.

The suspects were charged with two counts of entering auto each and transported to the Troup County Jail.

Gaming system stolen from home

LaGrange police responded to the 1000 block of Elm Street on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at approximately 7 p.m. in reference to a burglary that had occurred prior.

Police arrived and made contact with the victim, who stated that sometime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., an unknown person or persons entered into the secured residence and stole a gaming system along with a pair of shoes.

Police issued a case card, then instructed the victim the case was being forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Services.

Purse, debit card stolen in the night

LaGrange police responded to the 1000 block of Hill Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday in reference to a car burglary. The victim stated an unknown person had entered the victim’s vehicle and stolen several items.  The car, a gold Toyota Corolla, was unlocked.  A black purse containing a debit card along with miscellaneous other cards was missing from the front floor board, as well as some cash and miscellaneous change valued at $50.
