Woman says vodka taken from house Whiteline St.

A woman’s house was allegedly burglarized on the 900 block of Whiteline Street between 4 p.m. and 6:08 p.m. on Wednesday.
The woman told police when she came back from running errands, she found the front door pushed open.
The woman said she found her wallet open and $25 missing, along with ten one-ounce bottles of vodka valued at $10 altogether from her bedroom. The woman said nothing was out of place in her bedroom, but the bottles of vodka were in a plastic bag before they went missing.
Man arrested for stealing from Walmart
A man was arrested for allegedly stealing multiple items from the Walmart on New Franklin Road around 7:19 p.m. on Wednesday.
The man, 42, allegedly stole a backpack valued at $18.88, a five pack of V-neck t-shirts valued at $12.34, a four pack of briefs valued at $12.34, a three pack of boxer briefs valued at $10.46, a three pack of A-shirts valued at $10.26, a five pack of A-shirts valued at $12.34, men’s V-neck shirts valued at $13.97 and another five pack of briefs valued at $13.96.
The total value was $104.55. After being found and arrested at the Burger King on the same road, the man told police he was going through a diabetic- related attack.
The man told police he stole the items because he was not in the right state of mind due to his diabetes.
