Looking for silver bullets in this life

Are you still looking for that silver bullet? I see people chasing silver bullets their entire life. You know when you see people on TV saying, “I just won 140 million playing the lottery!” That is a 30 second spot, but if you run the ad for all the losers it would run non-stop for over nine years. If you cut your diet by 125 calories each day, and nothing else, you would lose more than 30 pounds in three years.
My point is that all the small choices you make in life make a big difference later in life.
I am not asking you to work out two hours a day like you’re running the Peachtree Road Race next month, but do something every day — walk, swim or play tennis. Do something. It is what you do each and every day that will make a big difference.
How will you live when you’re 68 years old? The older you get, the more you come to realize there are no silver bullets. It does not matter if we are looking at the lotto, your personal health, your wealth or lack of it. What you do each week, month and year will determine what your outcome will be. See you at the gym at 7 a.m.
