Several government offices will be closed on Monday in honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday.

The City of LaGrange will be closed for business Jan. 15 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

The Troup Sheriff’s Office’s administrative offices will also be closed for the holiday, though as always officers will be on duty and contactable by calling 911. The City of LaGrange Police and Fire services will remain open.

All garbage and recycling pickup days will be pushed back by one day. For example, if your regular pickup day is Monday, it will be Tuesday this holiday week.

Due the holiday, all Troup County Convenience Centers will be closed Monday. All center locations will return to the normal hours of operation on Tuesday.

The United States Postal Service will not deliver mail on the holiday.
