Six members of the Callaway wrestling team finished fourth or higher in Saturday’s area tournament to make it through to the Class AA state sectional.

Included in that group is senior Justin Kiss, who won the area championship on Saturday.

Also for Callaway, Laquize Gilbert, Matthew Wingate and Jakwan Nunley finished second, Ladarius Williams was third, and Austin Thomas placed fourth.

Brandon Belton won a match by pin and finished fifth, and he’s a state alternate.
