Drew Ferguson is a candidate to represent Georgia’s third district in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Ferguson said he campaigned on the promise that he would work to make America the best place in the world to do business. He said working with the Trump Administration, many of the burdensome regulations have been rolled back and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was passed to help American businesses be competitive on the global stage. Ferguson said the positive benefits are already clear in the third district. He said local businesses like Aflac, Southwire and Total System Services are investing in their workers and communities, and Georgians are seeing more money back in their paychecks. 

Ferguson said he also promised to repeal Obamacare, and while the House has acted to restore Americans’ right to choose their healthcare, he said the Senate has failed to act. Ferguson said the House of Representatives has passed more than 400 bills in the 115th Congress, including a repeal of the Dodd-Frank regulations on community banks. Ferguson said he has championed improving the educational opportunities available for the next generation. Whether students are looking for a traditional four-year college or a career technical education program, Ferguson said he has worked to make it easier for them to prepare for careers in the 21st century.

Ferguson said he has been all across the Third District, talking to small business owners, teachers, active duty military members and their families and folks from across the political spectrum. He said they tell him they want more jobs in their communities, lower taxes and less government in their day-to-day lives. Ferguson said their priorities at home are his priorities in Washington, and he looks forward to hearing from even more of his neighbors on their ideas for making government work better for them.
