Moody, Davis united in marriage in November

Miss Ashlee Louise Moody and Mr. Henry Murray Davis V were united in marriage on Nov. 18, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange, Georgia. The Rev. Henry Murray Davis IV officiated.
The parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Leon Moody III. The bride’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Leon Moody Jr., and Mrs. Patricia Godwin Willimon and the late Dr. Eugene Perritt Willimon Jr. The bride’s great-grandmother is Mrs. Raymond Leon Moody Sr.
The groom’s parents are the Rev. and Mrs. Henry Murray Davis IV. The groom’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Scoggins and Mr. Bruce Kesler and the late Mrs. Carol F. Kesler, the late Mr. Robert Gene Bizzell and the late Mr. Henry Murray Davis III. The maid of honor was Miss Payton Willimon Moody. The other bridal attendants were Mrs. Grace Oliver Asnip, Miss Anna Tyson Currin, Mrs. Catherine Miller Elbaum, Miss Taylor Larsen Ellen, Miss Jordan Loren Jenkins, Miss Savannah Michelle Mack, Mrs. Haley Batchelor Maycock, Miss Elizabeth Grace Ramsey, Miss Megan Elizabeth Wallace and Miss Laura Elizabeth Willimon. The best man was Mr. Sawyer Robert Davis. Other groomsmen include Mr. Nicholas Bryan Aizcorbe, Mr. Richard McKinnon Boyd, Mr. Joseph Morrison Brook, Mr. William Edwin Capplemann Jr., Mr. Charles Grayson Hill, Mr. Kevin Edward Hoffman, Mr. John Douglas Elliott, Mr. Christian Searle McMurry, Mr. Andrew Davidson Moody, Mr. Samuel Logan Moody, Mr. Tucker Douglas Snively and Mr. John Henry Tab Thompson.

The bride graduated from LaGrange Academy in 2011. She then attended Wofford College and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English. She now works as an administrative manager for the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. The groom graduated from A.C. Flora High School in Columbia, South Carolina in 2011 and then attended Wofford College where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Government, with a concentration in political thought. He now works as a government relations associate for DDC Public Affairs. The couple now resides in Washington, D.C.
