Tennessee Titans linebacker and LaGrange native Wesley Woodyard is part of the ownership of a new carwash in LaGrange.

Woodyard and his father Wesley Woodyard Sr. teamed up with their brothers to open Woodyard’s Old Fashioned Car Wash on New Franklin Road. The business held its grand opening on Saturday.

“We’ve been in business since November, so it has been a process,” Wesley Woodyard Jr. said. “My brother has been the leader in setting things up, and then my uncle Don and my father have been really grinding it to make this vision turn into a reality, and it has.”

The car wash is family-owned and operated, and its owners said that it has taken hard work by everyone involved to make their dream of running their own car wash a reality.

“This has always been a goal and a vision for us as a family,” co-owner Jazmon Griggs said. “We’ve always had a big interest in car washing, so this is something that we always aspired to do. I think it symbolizes something that me and my brother and my father and his brother have based [our lives] on, which is our family — family and the community and coming together and setting goals and trying to accomplish them and reaching them. This is the first business that we got the chance to open up and work together, and I think that is the main goal for us — to work together and see something grow and to see something be successful.”

The owners said that taking care of customers who visit the car wash is their top priority.

“We want them to feel like they’re at home, and we are going to take care of them,” co-owner Wesley Woodyard Sr. said.

They said that they hope to set their car wash apart with a personal touch.

“We put pride into what we do,” co-owner Donald Woodyard said.

Woodyard’s Old Fashioned Car Wash is located at 506 New Franklin Road and is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
