Setting goals to improve life

It does not matter what age you are, never stop trying to get better at what you do. I know I will not bench 300 pounds when I go to the gym Monday morning, but my doctor told me last month, “You’re in much better shape today than you were 15 years ago.”
Now, that is what I am talking about, the big picture. Fifteen years ago, he told me I would be on insulin every four hours for the rest of my life.
I set goals and have kept up with them every day, week and month. I keep up with my steps, miles and my resting heart rate all with my watch. By doing this, I have been able to gain confidence that I am headed in the right direction and along the way other people join in. I am using weight loss, if you can keep your weight down you can go do anything else by tracking your numbers.
