The Hogansville Police Department and Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the report of two missing children from Hogansville.

The children have been identified as Sophia Marie Cortez, 14, and Mary Jane Cortez, 12. According to the HPD, they were last seen at approximately noon on Sunday at their home in the 900 block of E. Main Street. Based on the information, the HPD believes both teens may be with their mother, April Leanne Corrales, and en route to Texas.

“We are continuing to seek information and to verify the well-being of the children,” said Hogansville Police Chief Brian Harr. “We are working on several from credible ledes.”
