The community is invited to take part in City Hall Selfie Day Thursday, Aug. 15.

Whether you are a city employee or a resident, the City of LaGrange is encouraging the community to snap a selfie at LaGrange City Hall, 200 Ridley Avenue, and post it on social media any time of the day on Wednesday.

The City of LaGrange asked that participants tag @lagrangegagov on Intsagram and use hash tags #CityHallSelfie, #ELGL and #GaCities.

The city encourages those participating to get creative with their selfies and to find ways to show off LaGrange.

Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) is hosting City Hall Selfie Day. 

There will be city hall selfie pictures throughout the country on social media on Thursday.

ELGL will be reviewing all of the tagged photos and awarding for a variety of different categories from “most creative” to “most selfies taken by one person.”  

LaGrange is competing for bragging rights.
