Last week, THINC College and Career Academy held its annual THINC Fast event for more than 500 students, according to a press release from the Troup County School System.
THINC Fast allows young learners, and this area’s future workforce, an opportunity to interview in front of community members and local business people.
According to the press release, more than 900 mock interviews were conducted because each student went through two rounds of interviews.
In advance of the career event, students created resumes, discussed interviewing techniques and dressed for success one day per week. During the event, there were 50 volunteers, including two THINC alumni.
Twenty-eight companies, businesses and organizations were represented.
