There may not have been a Peach Drop in Atlanta this year, but on Tuesday night, hundreds of locals and visitors gathered at Wild Leap Brew Co. to ring in the new year with 1920s inspired costumes and a keg drop at midnight.
Amidst an array of flapper dresses and sharp white shirts paired with suspenders, more than a few people found themselves making wishes for the new year. Wild Leap Co-Founder Rob Goldstein said that he wished for more hours in the day.
“2019 has been a tremendous year for Wild Leap, and we are just really grateful for how everything panned out,” Goldstein said. “We are excited to continue to release new beers and share exciting news with the community.”
Wild Leap was recognized by USA Today and Beer Guys Radio in 2019, even as the young brewery continued to expand its distribution.
Others wished for health, success at work and for more quality time with friends.
“My wish for 2020 is to find peace in my life,” Mandi Bono said. “2019 was a year of changes. 2020 should be a year of growth. That is what I am looking for this year.”
Bono also wished for all dogs at the LaGrange Animal Shelter and the LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society to find homes this year, including the ones with medical issues that make it harder to get adopted.
