LaGrange Animal Services is offering half price adoptions through Jan. 13, due to overcrowding at the shelter.
LaGrange Animal Services Supervisor Chris Bussey confirmed in a press release from the City of LaGrange the need to find homes for the animals.
“We have space issues with the dogs so all dogs are half off until Jan. 13,” Bussey said in the press release.
“We have 40 available for adoption and 30 on stray hold. Right now we have mostly medium to large size dogs.”
Stray hold allots owners up to 96 hours to find their pet that may have escaped. After the allotted time, those dogs also become available for adoption.
These dogs can be adopted right now for the price of $37.50.
The price tag comes with a voucher to help get your animal spayed or neutered as well as helping them receive their shots.
The LaGrange Animal Services building is at 1390 Orchard Hill Road in LaGrange. You can also reach them at (706) 298-3606 or via Facebook at www.facebook.com/CityOfLaGrangeAnimalShelter/
