Mrs. Rosa Lavelle Tollerson Morrison, 95, of LaGrange, passed away on Feb. 19, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

Mrs. Morrison was born on May 4, 1924, in Heard County, Georgia, to the late Lonnie Jackson Tollerson and Ruby Mae Caswell Tollerson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ligon James Morrison; sisters, Alpha Sue St. George and Iva Hornsby; nephews, Charles Laws and Barry St. George.

Survivors include her nephew, the Rev. Michael Hornsby and his wife Susan; nieces, Kathy Diane Morrison and her husband Ted and Martha Pergamo and her husband John; great and great-great nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Services for Mrs. Morrison will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church with her nephew, the Rev. Michael Hornsby officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. at the church until the service hour. A private family interment will be held.
