A third person in Troup County has died from complications related to COVID-19, according to the latest numbers posted by the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The GDPH’s noon update reflected the third death in Troup County, a 37-year-old female in Troup County with underlying health conditions.

The other two deaths in Troup County have been a 66-year-old female and a 61-year-old female. GDPH said both had underlying health conditions.

Troup County now has 46 confirmed cases, up from 37 on Monday evening. The state of Georgia has 8818 total cases and 329 total deaths.
