Reptile show on tap at LaGrange Memorial Library

LaGRANGE — The LaGrange Sierra Club will host a reptile show with demonstrations by Jason Clark, a nationally recognized reptile expert, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fackler Room at LaGrange Memorial Library.
Clark, a certified master naturalist of Southeastern Reptile Rescue, is expected to discuss information including snake identification, first aid and how to avoid snake bites using live venomous and nonvenomous snakes and alligators as part of the Southeastern Snake Encounter.
Southeastern Reptile Rescue is a Georgia-based organization providing live animal events, according to its website. It has been featured on a reality show on Animal Planet, and its educational programs and exhibits have extended into Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
Refreshments will be available following the meeting.
